Ordering Information for Aware Parenting Books

Aletha Solter's most recent book, Raising Drug-Free Kids, was published in September 2006 by Da Capo Press. This book can be ordered through any bookstore or online bookseller. Click here for more information about this book.

Aletha Solter's first three books are published by Shining Star Press, the publishing company for the Aware Parenting Institute. The titles are: The Aware Baby, Helping Young Children Flourish, and Tears and Tantrums. They can be ordered through any bookstore or online bookseller, or directly from us. (Dr. Solter has also written two workbooks, which can be ordered only from us.)

Please note that we sell only the English language editions of these books. Please contact the foreign language publishers or a bookstore in your country to order the foreign language editions.

Bookstores and mail order companies: these books are available from all major U.S. wholesalers (except Ingram).

BOOK PRICES (prices are in U.S. dollars):

The Aware Baby (revised edition): $15.95 per copy.
Helping Young Children Flourish: $15.95 per copy.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES:

-For shipping inside the U.S.: (California residents, please add appropriate sales tax.)

Media mail: Add $3.00 to your order for the first book, $0.50 for each additional book. Allow 1 to 4 weeks for delivery.

Priority mail: Add $5.00 for the first book, $3.00 for each additional copy. Allow 2 to 7 days for delivery.

-For shipping outside the U.S.: Add $12.00 to your order for each book (or two workbooks), $6.00 for each additional book (or two workbooks). Allow 1 to 3 weeks for delivery. If you wish to order 10 or more copies of one book, please see our bulk order discount information below. Books cannot be shipped until payment is received. Please pay in U.S. dollars by U.S. check or by international postal money order. Make your check payable to the Aware Parenting Institute. We're sorry, we cannot accept credit cards, foreign checks, or wire transfers to our bank. If you wish to order these books with a credit card, you can do so from one of the online booksellers.

BULK ORDER DISCOUNTS (for books of the same title):

1 to 9 books: no discount

10 to 19 books: 20% discount

20 books or more: 40% discount

The bulk order discount applies to books of the same title. Books of different titles may not be combined to qualify for the discount.

Books must be shipped to a single address.
