Aware Parenting Instructor Certification Program

The Aware Parenting instructors have been certified by Aletha Solter to teach the philosophy of Aware Parenting as described in her four books (The Aware Baby, Helping Young Children Flourish, Tears and Tantrums, and Raising Drug-Free Kids). Instructors must renew their certification every two years. Many of these instructors have upcoming workshops or are leading support groups. Some of them offer private consultations. Please contact them directly for information about Aware Parenting activities in their area.

Please note that our instructors have not been certified by Aletha Solter to give medical advice or to do therapy with adults or children, although some of them have additional credentials as medical professionals or psychotherapists. If you consult with them for anything other than Aware Parenting information and support, please check their credentials and references, as you would for any other professional.
