Aware Parenting in the United States of America
The Aware Parenting Institute is an international organization founded by Aletha Solter, Ph.D. (a Swiss/American developmental psychologist). The Aware Parenting approach is described in her books, which are available from most online booksellers.
Aletha Solter lives near Santa Barbara, California. Her books have been translated into many languages, and she has led workshops for parents and professionals in 20 countries. In the U.S., she has done presentations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Virginia, and Washington.
